Lara Coulier
PhD student in empirical macroeconomics at the Department of Economics, Ghent University
I am a fifth-year PhD student at the Department of Economics at Ghent University. I am part of the Macroeconomics, Policy and Econometrics research area and my research mainly focuses on macroprudential policy and financial stability. My work focuses on various aspects of financial stability, such as stability of the credit market, housing markets, household finance, and interest rate risk in the banking book. I also did a PhD traineeship at the European Central Bank (DG Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability).
For my research, I obtained funding from the Ghent University Special Research Fund (BOF, 2020-2021) and the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO-Vlaanderen, 2021-2024).
